woke up around 5:05, felt sluggish (see my previous post for more information).

5:45am crossfit: 1 cup black coffee

9:00am: eggs, beans, hot salsa, pineapple and mixed berries, electrolyte-enhanced water (it’s got electrolytes!)

12:15pm: turkey wrap with lettuce, bacon, tomato, guacamole, pesto sauce.  iced tea.

3:00pm: beef jerky, 8 mrs may ultimate crunch (dried fruit, almonds), 2 reese’s pieces mini

6:30pm: 2 reeses pieces mini

7:15pm: dinner at z tejas… some chips+guac, 2 pieces of cornbread, rare ahi tuna, mixed vegetables, side salad, 1 glass red wine


Today’s WOD
5 rounds for time (20-min cutoff):
400m run
25 decline pushups
10 front squat @ 135lb

 

I got through one round rx’d and on the second set of squats quickly realized that I didn’t have the mental fortitude to deal with the bar, so I dropped to 95 lb.  Completed 4 rounds, and got the 400m run of the 5th round in before the time cutoff.
